Is Jesus Really The Son of God ?
ANSWER : We are All Children Of God Regardless of Religion or behavior. We are all created in the image of God, that is what makes us HIS Children.
We are All God's Offspring. Sons and daughters of God.
So calling Jesus the Son of God is nothing new. The only people who take offense are people who are too far away from God so they cannot see Jesus is their Brother.
It's like a man who has 200 children.
A child who loved his father knows all his father's children but a son who hates his father and whose mind is not in the house will be hostile to anyone who loves his father.
On another level a True Child of God is anyone regardless of Religion that Loves God and behaves in a Kind and Loving way to his fellow man. You cannot be loving all the time that is foolishness. 90% love and 10% cruelty is a Good way to live in this evil and wicked World of ours.

I am afraid you have the gist upside down. We are not all Sons and daughters of God. Mankind lost that title when Adam and Eve fell and were cursed by God in Genesis 3 vs 16-22. The cursed rendered us sons of men, cursed beings who had no place in the presence of God and for this reason we were cast out of Eden to live out our cursed days on this earth after which we returned back to the dust from which we were made from.

For this reason, Jesus Christ was sent to restore all those who would believe and and saved back to that status that was lost to us by Adam and Eve. And for this reason, Jesus Christ came to us as the First born, Son of God, and we who follow after Him, children of God.

Jesus Christ is only brother to those who are indeed Sons of God and these are those who live in continual submission to and obedience of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ - they are no longer slaves to sin and the curse and are become Holy/Perfect vessels for the Holy Spirit of God to dwell inside of - John 8 vs 31 - 44 and John 14 vs 15 - 25
