Of course I can't speak to the credibility of degrees awarded at baze University but all I can talk to is the complete overhaul that Nigeria and its democracy needs.

Every thing in that country is bastardized. From health sector to power(electricity); from formal education to artisanship, no area is left untouched. The depth of mediocrity in every area in Nigeria is bottomless.

The mantras of "technology transfer" or "no need to reinvent the wheel" are not applicable to us. When Asian countries like China are accused by the west of intellectual property theft, at least they are modifying the ideas and technologies to either suit them better or improve on them.

Governance is shambolic, to say the least least. When we embraced western ideas and technologies all we do is turn it on its head or destroy it. Even their idea of democracy we were sold is not what we have in our country.

Who is to blame? Nigerians and the total failure of leadership over many decades that is still going on. We need to make Political office holders work for us. We must make governance about service and ideas and make it undesirable and unprofitable to those who see politics as a means of employment.

Not really. The school is for made people. Poor men children don't school there, and even if they wanna do that, they can't honestly afford the tuition that goes as high as 2.5 million naira every session... The kids there are from well to do background. Their folks are the la cream of the society

Dino purportedly gained admission into BAZE University in 2019.

Every public and private University were shut down the whole of 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Council of legal education require a law student to spend a minimum of 5 years in the University before you acquire a law degree.

On what planet will someone acquire a law degree after spending less than one year of studies in school except in Nigeria and at BAZE University.

To the best of my knowledge Senator Ifeanyi Ubah didn't attend a formal secondary school.

He spent his secondary school time in Gabon as a trader.

Now he's a law graduate with Second Class upper.

This is utterly despicable.

When did we descend this low.

Can you become a medical doctor after one year of University education?

If the medical colleges will not graduate a student in one year why should the council of legal education allow this nonsense to happen

I not questioning the purpose of learning but it is relevant and timing.

Senior Senators going back to academic undergraduate university at this stage in their career, beggars belief, are they saying that they lacked the academic qualifications to be in the job in the first place. Please are you educated at all? What is being discussed here is academics not politics. I cannot see where this your comment stands. If you think Abubakar Malami is not qualified as a SAN and his certificates are also fake, then how does that substantiate this brazen aberration of academia in our institution we are discussing here?
