The ex-Watford striker retired from international duty after Nigeria’s third-place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, where he finished as the top scorer with five goals.

With the number of strikers doing well in top leagues abroad, it is a shame that the Super Eagles coach, Rohr, is welcoming Ighalo who plays in Saudi Arabia back to the Super Eagles team.
