What a man can do, a woman can do better. A girl who graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) as the Best graduating student from the department of Electronics Engineering in 2021.

Her name is Eze Amen, she is from Obukpa, Nsukka in Enugu State. She graduated with first class honours and a CGPA of 4.83. Not only did she graduate with first class, she is the best graduating student in her class.

She would have graduated in 2020, but the constant ASUU strike delayed her graduation till 2021.

From her secondary school days, she has excelled in her academics. Because of her performance in the 2015 WASCE, she was offered a scholarship for her university education.

She did not let her sponsors down as maintained a first class CGPA and was the best graduating student in her department (Electronics Engineering).

She is the first daughter of Late Mr Matthias Eze, the founder of Paraclete College Obukpa, Nsukka. Her father died when she was still young and her mother had to raise her and her younger siblings alone.

Eze Amen attended Holy Rosary College Enugu (HRC Enugu). She later went to Seat of Wisdom Secondary School Trans-Ekulu Enugu (SWSS), where she completed her secondary school education and sat for her WASCE.

After the news of her first class result spread, she has received gifts and offers from individuals and some companies.

She reads a lot, but she still knows how to have fun. People who know her describe her as an intelligent and fun loving person.

She took after her late father who was a very intelligent educationist. The people of Nsukka and Enugu state are proud to have her as a daughter. Her school UNN celebrates her and Nigeria is proud to have her as her citizen.

Why won't women keep turning out as the best graduating students from the den year in year out when they are accorded some preferential treatments compared to the guys in terms of provision of basic amenities. You can't compare their (boys and girls) hostels...
