With this statistic by the Bank regulatory body, it is not an understatement to declare that presently Nigerians are extremely poor.

They said about 95% of account owners would inherit less than #500,000 should the bank default.

So you mean even those thousands of our brothers from the East that some people claim some of them are richer than Dangote don't have up to N500k in their account..?

According to stats, there are about 111 million bank account users in Nigeria.
If according to the OP, 99.4% of them don't have 500k in their account, it means only 0.6% have 500k and above.. That means on 666,000 people in Nigeria has 500k and above.
