To organize and maintain health information both in paper files and in electronic systems.
To check data for accuracy, ensure proper billing for insurance reimbursement,
To record information and keep file folders and electronic databases up-to-date.
To manage patient information, medical histories, physician exams, test results, treatments and services provided.
To ensure patient care conforms with individual HMO/NHIS requirements/policies
To obtain all necessary HMO codesas at when due
Ensure completion of all documentation for HMOs and the timely submission of bills
To act as relationship officer with HMOs/NHIS
To follow best practices for security and patient confidentiality.
Other clerical duties as assigned by the manager

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of First Degree in related field with at least 2years of working experience. Working knowledge of Quickbooks and ERP will be and added advantage.
Confident, mature proactive candidate with great interpersonal skills and ability to manage other staff.
Applicant must possess the following skills: Computer literacy, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Quality Focus, Professionalism, Productivity, Deadline-Oriented, Skillful Communicator, Reporting Skills
Experience in hospital setting of utmost importance with particular emphasis on HMO management and billing
