As it stand now south east region can't guarantee security of life and prosperities therefore suspending the opening ceremonies is the best option. How can a thinkable person think of international airport in region where even motor Parks can't not operate 7days a week ?

As it will benefit the south east, they will not allow it. And I will not be surprised if the APC candidate in the coming election in Anambra is behind it as well.

I understand your point though, but majority of the population can't afford flight tickets which is why bus transport will always be in business. Imo State has an airport but has it stopped four God is Good buses from going to Lagos from Owerri every day or 4 Chisco buses from coming back from Lagos to Owerri every day?

It is more of security precaution than politics and I believe the so called commissioner knows the truth.
There is no political scheme that can stop the operation of Anambra airport from taking off this year. However, in government you don't take security threats for granted no matter how small it is. We all know the security news concerning 30th of October, so for me I think it's more of necessary precaution than just politics.
