A prominent member of Osinbajo for President, Mallam Salihu Nataro has said the need to revolutionalise the education and economic sectors is why progressive northern leaders in the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) insist that Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, should be supported with the party’s 2023 Presidential ticket.

He said that the effort to get Osinbajo to run has gained traction, stressing that his group is currently engaged in working expeditiously to resolve ‘differences’ between the Vice President and the hardworking former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the Jagaban.

Nataro disclosed that studies have shown that the educational sector, especially the university system, would receive the much needed autonomy under an Osinbajo Presidency.

He added that the Vice President fits into the 60-age loop being advocated by a former military President, Ibrahim Babangida, adding that the responsibility of refocusing the country’s leadership rests on such calibre of emergent leaders.

Nataro, who is also a representative of Labaratorious Richmond, the Pharmaceutical company currently producing the Russian Sputnik V Covid Vaccine based in Argentian, South America, said Osinabjo’s Presidency would push forward Nigeria’s healthcare system.

On the area of Judicial reforms, Nataro said many Nigerians have not forgotten how Prof. osinbajo helped to drive the Lagos State Judiciary, remarking that the innovative Alternative Dispute Resolution he pioneered would help to decongest custodial centres.

He stated: “We have passed the wish stage. We are working on how to smoothen relationship between the Vice President and the hardworking Jagaban so that nothing frustrates the Southwest bloc votes.

“The other thing is the strong belief among progressive northern politicians that Osinbajo as President will revolutionise all sectors, like education, healthcare, judiciary, agriculture and defence industry to make it more domestic to enable our military design and produce various missiles.

“Osinbajo as President will fine-tune all our foreign MoUs (Memorandum of Understandings), especially the ones signed by late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua with Medved of Russia to train our youth on space Technology and again to generate electricity through nuclear.”

They are looking for a weakling to play around like ping pong....the way they did to Goodluck Jonathan.

Chibuike Amaechi should also be showing interest at least under the guise that he wants to complete SS second tenure. Dude is a ND warrior and cannot be a stooge to anyone.

Tinubu's APC machine has failed Nigerians, woefully! Anyone who gives them his or her vote in 2023 does not love Nigeria and does not want her progress.
Under Buhari and his hatchet man Prof Osinbajo and APC, Nigeria has been set back, at least 20 years. Some of their landmark achievements include Corruption, Insecurity, Nepotism, Tribalism, Unemployment, The Dwindling Naira, Oppression and Suppression are all at their worst, under Buhari/Osinbajo and Tinubu APC.

We can't wait to be rid of their leadership!

Tinubu is better than osinbanjo, Osinbanjo taking over is simply extension of Buhari administration

The issue I had with Osinbajo was that I had thought of him as someone who would be Tinubu’s lapdog.

But time and again he has demonstrated that he can be a man of his own; shrewd and with tact.

Because of that, I don’t mind him becoming president but definitely not in 2023.

2023 is for Igbos.

At this point, we can all agree that Osinbajo would be a good president, though, he is yet to declare his interest.

One of the reasons for this support is to make sure that the Northern-Christians are marginalized the more.

The emergence of Yakubu Dogara as speaker back in 2015 pained the Northern-Muslims more that it pained the Youtube-Muslims. The emergence of Yakubu Gowom was also a mistake.

Northern Christians are marginalized so much that they are forced not to cry.

Any Southerner except Theifinibu has my vote. Yes my vote is inconsequential by it will count.

So the bolded is the new strategy, no VP since 1999 has balls like osinbajo.
Ameachi is also a good candidate but who's going to vote for him? We all know ss/se will vote for pdp so....
