Is Facebook Breaking A Nigerian Privacy Law Or Not? by Parachoko: 10:32am On Oct 31, 2021 |
Hello guys I tried to create a Facebook account, I used my Gmail address instead of using my phone number, but FB keeps on asking me for my phone number for them to send me a code even though I choose not to use my phone number when signing up. Is this right or wrong? Is this the way they run things in the EU too? So far I have chosen to sign up with my Gmail address, they should not be forcing me to drop my phone number. The ministry in charge of this should look into this. So far I choose to drop a Gmail address, I should not be forced to drop my phone number. As things stand now, I'm planning of permanently deleting the account
