Many sympathizers gathered to witness the bringing down of the remains of a yet to be identified electricity worker who was electrocuted to death while fixing a high tension cable in Ughelli.

Focus Naija can report that the incident happened around Afiesere Junction on the evening of Monday, 1st November, 2021.

According to an eyewitness, the victim was fixing the cable when the power station restored electricity. The cable snapped and fell on him, electrocuting him instantly.

As at the time of filing this report, his remains has been removed from the pole.
