Massive Gas Leakage In Ikeja, Lagos by TheRareGem1(f): 9:55am On Nov 03, 2021
A gas leakage has occurred around Computer Village, Oba Akran Area of Lagos on Wednesday.

The spokesperson for NEMA (South West), Ibrahim Farinloye, in a statement on Wednesday, advised residents to avoid using anything inflammable.

“Residents around Computer Village, Underbridge Awolowo Way, and Oba Akran axis, Anifowose Street, Medical Road must not open shops or use open naked fire for safety reasons,” he said.

“Distressed alert just received indicates massive leakage of gas pipeline around these areas.”

Gas leakage brought under control

The PUNCH has learnt that the gas leakage has been brought under control with residents advised to go about their daily routine.

However, traffic diversion around the areas is still in force.

A mega city full of mega chaos. If it is not building collapse, it's truck falling on cars or tanker explosion or gas leakage, which would lead to explosion.

There is a gas plant around oba akran/anifowoshe, probably where the leak is emanating from.

Since tinubu returned from medical vacation abroad,Lagos state has been having one problem or the other.The gods are against his presidential ambition.For all the problems happenings in Nigeria,be it insecurity, inflation,bandits and Fulani herdsmen killers, unemployment,and bad governance under APC,it is the probe of building collapsed that tinubu could only talk about.

Na south they suffer gas or pipelines leakages, na northern states dey enjoy the money.


Now this is south headache, if one werey go smoke weed or cigar south will bear the consequence.

Northern is only after the money, sense won’t kill northern Nigerian as their southern counterpart mumu never do.
