Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare, has saved his monetary pledge to Nigeria’s athletes to the Edo 2020 Paralympic Games, The PUNCH has learnt.

Dare had secure to financially reward the Paralympics athletes World Health Organization excelled at the Games in Edo.

Nigeria featured twenty two athletes in four events at the Games.

Our correspondent learnt that the athletes World Health Organization won gold were rewarded with $10,000 each, whereas those that won silver and bronze medals got $8,000 and $7,000 severally.
