According to SaharaReporters, some voters at the ongoing Anambra elections have sold their electoral rights for as low as N2,500, stechitegist.com gathered.

An update by Cable reads: “Location: PU 010, Ward 02, Nkwo Amaenyei market square, Awka South LG. The lady in green voted and entered a gated compound where she was given N2,500.”

The rundown to the Anambra State election had been filled with allegations of fraud and violence by the major political parties towards one another.


SaharaReporters had earlier reported that the state Governor, Willie Obiano, raised the alarm over alleged plan by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to declare written results of today’s governorship election in 10 local government areas.
