Taiosquare:I don't get how it's "misyarning". It's perfectly okay to solicit for developers who are willing to work for free to develop their portfolio. It should just be made clear ahead of time that contributing developers will not be paid for their time and effort. I have been on a number of projects where remuneration was zero. However this was made known ahead of time. Using clear language and not trying to obfuscate that by saying "portfolio enhancing". Heck I have even been on these so-called "portfolio enhancing" projects that started out as open source but eventually closed source subsequent developments when the product had become a proven MVP. I'm not trying to denigrate your request for developers interested in enhancing their portfolios. I'm only breaking it down so those who don't know what the meaning of "portfolio enhancing", have a better understanding before making commitments. I wish you the very best in your endeavor |
