HON AMINUM T OF PDP elected new speaker of house of representative with 252 votes counted to his favour. GEJ's candidate Hon. M. Akande (Mrs) of the PDP (-90votes) heavily beaten in the contest! Should be recalled that the major opposition parties in the house (ACN, CPC and ANPP) threw thier behind Hon. Aminu. T, who they claim was a better candidate and a choice against party leadership imposition and zoning more details to follow. |
