The fire outbreak at Kaduna State University KASU School market has burnt down 14 shops as more than 3gas was exploded around 6:00pm, the shops affected are said to be Cafe, grocery store, and snacks shop.
The Kaduna State University KASU Fire service tried as much as possible not to make the issue escalate more than it was, great job done by them, emergency fire fighting tanks available through out the incident, and also the male KASU Students who came to school to read Till day break for their exam.
The male Students of KASU are said to be the one of first aid, they brought some useful things out of some of the burnt shops, in support of KASU security.
It was gathered that it was a wire spark that caused it, while it gets to the gas and then explode and gets more than it was. More than six emergency fire fighting tanks of water from KASU Fire service.
"It wasn't because of Gas KASU market exploded", said KASU market Chairman.
The school management representative said there should be a ban for using gas in the school market.
Cries of the owners of the shops burst out while one of them fainted when she saw the fire outbreak and noticed her shop was among the burnt one, some took as nothing happened and left. Some of which are not reachable dew to Kaduna network knows nothing about the explode, until they come to shop the next day to sell.
