This update comes from the table of Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo. The journalist in a tweet stated that the government of the state is planning a controlled demolition of the rest two towers. 

She stated that this was necessary as one of the towers is already tilted and poses a risk to the community, and to do this the whole area must be cleared. 

On November 1 of 2021 the 360 degrees building in Ikoyi collapsed trapping several and injuring several. A report had 38 deaths.
