If you take a good look at the Election Results which the INEC uploaded on its Virtual-Results-Portal for the various Polling-units in “Abatete Ward” in Idemili-North LGA, you would begin to wonder if anything went wrong during the Collation, which might have led to the cancellation of some of the figures we are seeing on the results portal.
This is because, the results declared in the final official results are far far below what we are seeing in the uploaded results on the Virtual-Results-Portal.

In some of the results, especially the polling-units in Abatete ward, APC got as much as 1028 votes, 658 votes, 441 votes, and so on.
But all these results were cancelled by the INEC during the collation of the results.

This is the same scenario that happened in Imo State, where INEC cancelled some crazy results, and the courts accepted those results back again as authentic results).

We went ahead and asked INEC why they cancelled those results, but they did not give us any satisfying response.
..
We also asked them why they left such crazy results still appearing on the Virtual-results-portal for everybody to be seeing them, whereas they had been cancelled them during the collation of results. They did not give any good response to the question either.

The INEC didn't answer both of our questions.
..
So, we had to go out of our way to know why the results were cancelled in the first place.
..
First of all, we got to realise that the main reason why the votes were cancelled was because, there was electoral malpractice.
Some thugs snatched the ballot boxes and the Results Sheets and other election materials in many of the Polling-units in Abatete ward and moved all of them to the residence of Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezim (the Hon. Member representing Idemili-North and Idemili-South at the House of Representatives - APC).

The other party agents who were left confused at the polling-units later got to know the new location where the materials were moved to, and they alerted the security agencies who were on ground, and they went to the location and arrested him and all the people in his residence, including all those fake Results which they had already written at his residence.

Funny enough, the numbers of votes which they recorded for APC in most of the polling-units were far greater than the total number of registered voters in those polling-units.
Laugh nearly killed the people there when they were looking at the values.

Meanwhile, Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezim was released after a phone-call came in from Abuja and requested that he should be released, reason being that they should keep things on-the-low for now, so that they won't raise unnecessary dusts about the issue.

Meanwhile, the reason why INEC uploaded such fake results to its Virtual-results-portal is still not understood yet.

Possibly, the bought-over/bribed NYSC corps-members who were supposed to be the INEC adhoc staff, who were also the ones that wrote the fake results at the Hon. Ibezim’s residence, were the ones who uploaded those same fake results from inside the residence of Hon. Ibezim before the arrests were made.

We implore and plead and beg INEC not to leave or allow those dirty and corrupt NYSC Corps-members to go unpunished.
This should serve as severe deterrence to all future Corps-members who might consider delving into such malpractices in the future.

This ugly incident might be one of the reasons why APC might decide not to head to the Tribunals, because the results that were cancelled had a very ugly story behind it which they wouldn't want to go public

A quick internet search on the Idemili-North election even confirmed that the event was even carried by some bloggers.

If not for the fighting spirit of the people at the various polling-units, which forced the remaining INEC-staff that were on ground to come back to their senses, the remaining INEC-staff would have helped them in perfecting their rigging plans ooo.
So, in future elections, nobody should relax ooo.
Take the election as if it is also your personal businesses ooo.
Don't relax and wait on INEC alone ooo.
If not, whatever you see, don't blame anybody.

To scrutinize the Anambra Election-Results and all the data available, and determine if the rigging were deducible from the available data..
One thing is, INEC just released the results.
We are still for more data.
Just like they released for Edo and Ondo.
And we're even expecting more data than for Edo and Ondo, since the accreditation was majorly done electronically.
..
At least, after our analyses, then I can have an independent opinion of my own, whether INEC‘s Technological Innovations can stop rigging, even if INEC Staff themselves are involved in the rigging.
