Well, you have no idea about the population of those bandits and how it keeps swelling. Only if you know how the military is neutralising many of them but they keep increasing in number.
And of course, you assume northern region is like a southern region with tiny land mass which makes it easier for the military to cover more ground during operations. 90% of Nigerian military operations are taking place in the North, and yet the results couldn't be felt. Why?
