Less than 72 hours after the death of his stepmother, Nomthi Odukoya was announced on the internet, Nollywood actor, Jimmy Odukoya took to his social media page to reveal a key breakthrough in his acting career.



Jimmy Odukoya accepted the fact that it was indeed bad timing as he has only lost his stepmother but however revealed he would be working on an anticipated Hollywood movie project titled "Woman King" with famous American actress cum producer, Viola Davis as well as Grammy winner, Angelique Kidjo.

For as many who may not really know, Jimmy Odukoya is the son of Pastor Taiwo and the late Bimbo Odukoya in 2005.

Over the year, Jimmy Odukoya has been able to create a good career for himself in the Nigerian movie industry and is among the faces in movies with a focus on English movies.

Jimmy has his full name as Oluwajimi Odukoya and there are no reliable details of his date of birth but from the look of things, he is believed to be in his late 30's.

His parents are Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, a popular man of God in Nigeria and his mother is late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, who died after sustaining severe injuries in the Sosoliso plane crash in 2005.

Jimmy Odukoya has two females from his late mother and two males from his now late stepmother Nomthi Odukoya who his father married in 2010.

Pastor J as he is popularly called, was raised in the city of Lagos, Nigeria, thus making him a Nigerian by birth. he however had his tertiary education abroad.



Career

Jimmy Odukoya had his tertiary education in the United States; he bagged his first degree in Business Administration (Advertising minor) from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and later an MBA in Business Administration from the same school.

From his tender age, he has been involved in the church and since his parents were General overseers of the Fountain of Life Church, he was and still is involved in many church activities.
