The Economy Of Anambra Is 2 Times Larger Than The Economy Of Niger Republic, Yet Anambra Has No Railway- Reno Omokri.

The former special assistant to former president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has once again spoken. Reno Omokri is one Nigerian man who always speaks out when there is a need for him to do so, without any fear or favour.

According to a recent tweet he made on his verified twitter handle, he stated it clearly that the economy of Anambra State is two times larger than the economy of Niger Republic.

He further stated it clearly that Niger Republic has a GDP of less than $15 billion, yet Amaechi and Buhari are building a billion dollar railway for them, when Anambra State does not have a single railway. He ended his tweet by making it known that people still wonder why APC lost election in Anambra State.

This is really not a good one indeed. I don't see the reason why the federal should be constructing railway for another country, yet some states in Nigeria do not have a single railway.

Well.. sometimes one wonders how a manufacturing hub would be alienated from railways..

I strongly believe that there is a deliberate hold on the eastern region on ports, railways and crude oil exploration, because they majorly control commerce and importations.. it's still not fair honestly, but some balance need to be created for synergy and dependence.

When you majorly control importation and commerce in a Nation while having a standard seaport and rail system connecting Nigeria alongside the discovery of crude oil and gas all in same region and considering the secession agitation, that is a country already and would be detrimental to other regions in terms of employments and business. every National leader even a president from the SE would mostlikely softpedal. Anambra having an Airport today was long overdue, but didnt have any untill now due to high powered politicking as a result of maintaining of such balance. Little wonder why Amechi is struggling with railways in the SS despite being of lower gauge and the Onne port for imports aside crude would leave you bankrupt and frustrated.

This scheme(hold them down) is also employed as "Quota system" in employment and recruitment with unequal cutoff point for scholars. so as to balance out employment across board.

He should use his Delta State for his reference and stop hidding behind Ndiigbo to fight his imaginary enemies.
