That's the nature of almost all judiciary systems around the world. The guy was only brought in about 6 months ago. How long has El zakzaky' case been going on without a sentence or acquittal? How long has dasuki's case been ongoing? How about Maine? These are just the nature of judiciary process, it's a slow process.

Dude, that IS NOT 'THE NATURE OF ALMOST ALL JUDICIAL SYSTEMS AROUND THE WORLD'! It is however the nature of the judiciary system in ALL countries with despotic regimes.....where the judiciary is in the pocket of the ruling despot, like we see in Nigeria!

He was kidnapped from Kenya about six months ago, and they made a play of 'following the judicial process' by bringing him before the useless and compromised judge Nyako on the same day he arrived Abuja! That was all playing to the gallery, as they had no intention of allowing the judicial process take over! Now tell me, denying the defence team access to the court room while the prosecution sat comfortably with nine attorneys of their own....is that normal judicial system in your estimation? As soon as Mazi Kanus' lawyer got up to go and find out why the DSS were refusing the defence team access to the court, the prosecution and judge Nyako saw the window of opportunity they had been hoping for, and they grabbed it with both hands....claiming the defence 'walked out on proceedings', and adjourning till 2022! This is JUSTICE in the eyes of rottennaija and his kind! It's obvious the judge is taking instructions from as high up as Buhari...a evil and vindictive despot, who has scant regard for legal niceties when the survival of his ATM 'one Nigeria' hangs in the balance!

El Zakzaky and Dasuki are poor examples, because Buhari loathes them both almost as much as he loathes Mazi Kanu, and would much rather have them rot in custody if it was solely up to him!

Mainas' own could be the closest to a good example of how slow the Nigerian judicial wheel turns. However, in his own case, it may not be all black and white and staright forward as you suggest. There may be other interests and persons involved that may have helped drag things out a bit while they decide if he should be thrown under the bus to help bolster Buharis' anti-kwarruption credentials!

You need to be careful how you through generalising state. "This is JUSTICE in the eyes of rottennaija and his kind!" I never said that but again, since I do not seem to agree with you, you are free to go on accusing people.

Let me ask you and you tell me, give me an example of a judicial case in Nigeria (as a start or any part of the world) that was started and completed within a year? Just 1 high profile example?

The Niger Delta militant did a lot of kidnapping. They blew up pipelines. But they never went after people, killing them as your hero ordered his foot soldiers to. You can claim kidnapping all you want, but the fact remains, MNK was a fugitive in the eyes of the law in Nigeria and criminals don't complain of their human right being abuse after they have gone on to deny others of the same right. When Boko Haram leader Shekau was killed by troops (or anyone who killed him), you didn't see them taking Nigerian govt to court for the murdering their hero.

And one more thing, you can deceive yourself all you want, MNK legal team were allowed into the court, only Bruce Fein was not allowed. So your insinuation of defence team not allowed into the court is false. But as usual, you can keep on deceiving yourself.

Let me reiterate, MNK is a terrorist who has killed his own people, target security personnel and infrastructure, destroyed state infrastructure etc with his ESN. It's because of these that the government of Nigeria declared his movements IPOB a terrorist organisation.

With all this hatred, why they so afraid of leaving without Igbo if they aren't cowards... The Igbo must leave this contraption to enable Hausa/Fulani , yoruba and other tribes to leave in peace and tranquility

Who asked dialogue? Did they FG say so? It's from MNK lawyer you heard from not the FG and all of you are jumping up and down. The dialogue was first suggested by paramount rulers from igbo extraction and other igbo groups, then re-echoed by MNK lawyers and then suddenly, you people start believing it.

Sometimes me out time to go through national newspaper. What did malami did about politically dialogue onMNK case. You have been blinded by fakenews all over nairaland. Nairaland is a forum not a news forum. Get it into your coconut head

The rubbish and weakass argument coming from you sounds just like something Buhari and his Fulani gang would spew! Total rubbish! In one breath, you deny you never implied there's been a travesty of justice in the ongoing and so called 'trial' of Mazi Kanu......and in another breath, you defend all the rubbish that went on in court, and the criminal actions of the despotic and evil Buhari gov't that preceeded them!

You ask me to cite one example of a high-profile case in Nigeria that was started and completed within a year! Dude, to start with, that's too broad an approach to the issue! A much more nuanced approach would be to look at trials on a case-by-case basis.......look at the actions and/or inactions of the prosecutors/litigants (Fed gov't; DSS; Police; Lawyers; etc) to see if obvious and unfair delay tactics, that run contrary to principles of justice and fairness, were employed! We all know the wheels of justice turn slowly everywhere....more so in Nigeria, but the fundamental thing is that at the end of the day, justice must not only be done but be seen to be done! Thus far, this isn't the case with Mazi Kanus' trial, and if you argue otherwise, you're no better than the animals engaged in this travesty of justice!

You're a fool to posit that Mazi Kanu told his followers to go after innocent individuals! I dare you to prove this! Fact of the matter is IPOB was, is, and will always be a peaceful organisation, but they would be fools to continue to sit like sitting ducks while Buharis' murderous thugs, that pass for 'Nigerian security outfits', use them for target practise! This was the case right from 2015 that the despot began his criminality and anti-Igbo agenda!

Every Nigerian not beholden to the Fulani hegemony knows the murderous antics of the Fulani herdsmen and bandits that have been wrecking havoc all over the country...including the south-east! Now we all know the primary responsibility of gov't is to ensure the protection of lives and property of ALL its citizens! The useless Buhari gov't has failed woefully in this regard! We all saw the incursions these Fulani herdsmens/bandits made into the south-east (Nimbo being a case in point)! Innocent Igbo men, women and children were matcheted and hacked down in such a manner as to suggest intense wickedness, hatred and vengeance towards an entire ethnic grp! Now can you tell us why this was allowed to happen under Buharis' watch? Can you also tell us who has been caught, tried and sentenced to death for this outrage? Of course you can't! Wasn't it Theophilus Danguma that accused the Nigerian security forces of colluding with the bandits and herdsmen in their nefarious activities? Wasn't it your useless minister of defence that declared Nigerians should protect themselves against these animals? In light of the aforementioned, how the fck does anyone go about blaming Mazi Kanu for setting up the ESN? The ESN was formed to do the job the useless Buhari gov't was either unwilling or incapable of doing! It was after the formation of the ESN that the inept and useless Buhari gov't sent its Fulani army to the south-east to engage them (remember Uzodinmas' ill-adviced invitation of the army to Imo state?), and this is partly what has led to all the bloodshed witnessed in the south-east today!

Another reason for the bloodshed are the actions of northern elements (either northerners in the DSS, army, etc, or foreigners from Niger, Mali, etc, engaged in the criminality that's been going on since 2015) in the south-east, carrying out high-profile murders with the aim of pinning the blame on Mazi Kanu, IPOB and ESN! They carry out these murders, and fools like you and Malami then take over and announce to the world that IPOB/ESN are responsible.....just like what you're doing now!

Mazi Kanu was a fugitive in the eyes of which law? You mean the law according to Buhari and his Fulani kinsfolk? You CANNOT talk of 'eyes of the law' in one breath.....and in another, condone the criminal and illegal rendition of Mazi Kanu from Kenya! There's a reason we have extradition treaties and proceedings! Can you furnish us with details of said extradition hearing that went on in Kenya before a Kenyan judge authorized Mazi Kanu being handed over to Buharis' DSS goons? Of course you can't!

Mazi Kanus' lawyer specifically stated on Arise TV that the defence team were not allowed into court, and i'll take his word over a bigoted 'one Nigeria' apologist like you! Judge Nyako knew exactly what was going on when the defence team were arguing with the DSS that they should be allowed into court. Instead of her to intervene and settle the issue one way or the other (she could have barred Bruce Fein from court if he was the bone of contention), she colluded with the prosecutors who were already sitting pretty in court (all NINE of them), adjourned proceedings to 2022, and ran away....probably to the applause of the nine northern prosecutors present!

These ones are still dreaming. You don't dialogue from a position of weakness. The FG have all the evidence to put MNK away fro decades. So who will dialogue with them? After, his disciples and ESN are going around killing people

Then, let them commence his trial and stop hiding from their own court. If they have all the evidence they should hasten up and stop wasting our time.

Buhari simply don't know what to do with Kanu. He wasn't to keep him out of circulation till his tenure finishes. Very dumb move I must say because he is biting more than he can chew.
