Credit Officers/Marketers

Job Specifications:

• Full Time
• Required Qualifications: OND/HND/BSc
• Location: Oyo (Oyo, Ogbomosho, Igbeti, Saki and Iwere Ile)

Job Description:

• Facilitate lending for clients by accessing creditworthiness & process relevant
Paperwork
• Prepare loan applications
• Evaluate clients financial information
• Calculate risk ratios
• Gather information of the clients and address verification
• Analyze, verify applicants financial information and determine loan needs
• Explain different loan options available to the applicants
• Ensure loan terms comply the organizational regulation and policy
• Loan monitoring
• Good customer relation
• Act as a liaison between the institution and the applicant
• Book loan in the best interest of both the Organization and the clients
• Account Opening
• Investment Mobilization
• carry out regular post disbursement visits on the clients
• Ensure zero default TOLERANCE
• Target Driven

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of OND in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Candidate should possess good marketing, customer service & interpersonal relation skills.
• Candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in a related role.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Packages especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and etc is mandatory.

Internal Control Officer

Job Description

• The Control Officer's key function is monitoring and measuring operational efficiency of the organization by detecting and eliminating fraud and ensuring compliance with the bank's regulations, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Daily update and auditing of the collection officers daily.
• Carry out strategic and impromptu checks on loan customers to verify documented information reported by DCA collection officers.
• Carry out detailed investigations when discrepancy, cash suppression or fraud is noticed.
• Internal control checks and records to safeguard company assets.
• Make recommendations regarding facilities, equipment, personnel, procedures and systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with the banks policy, procedure and regulations.
• Identify areas of financial and administrative strengths and weaknesses and develop best practices.
• Develop and implement appropriate operating procedures to ensure compliance with bank and industry policies.
• Conduct audit testing of potential risk areas and identify reportable issues.
• Monitor and provide advice to management to minimize risk resulting from poor controls.
• Daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Education and Skills

• BSc in Economics, Finance or other related subjects
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a micro-finance bank.

LOAN RECOVERY OFFICER

Job Specifications:

• Job Type: Full Time
• Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
• Experience: 2 years
• Location: Oyo (Oyo, Ogbomosho, Igbeti, Iwere ile and Saki) |
• Job Field: Banking/Finance /Accounting

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Degree in Banking/Finance/Accounting or Economics are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a loan recovery role.
• Good communication skills.
• Familiarity with bank deposits/loans products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow up with customers for all outstanding payments and identify problematic accounts. Ensures Non-Performing Loans are followed up and monitored diligently.
• Responsible for communicating with delinquent borrowers, establishing and developing effective payment plans with the delinquent borrowers.
• Making collection efforts on past due accounts vide site visit, email or phone in order to achieve prompt payment.
• Advice borrowers of their legal liabilities under existing contract law (including the interpretation of their liability under the loan agreement).
• Perform daily operational or admin duties of department including daily reports and processing of accounts.
• Compile statistics and reports related to Credit Admin for management review.
• Liaise with lawyers to issue Notice of Demand and Notice to Recall
• Follow up with lawyers on litigation cases until the cases are closed.
• Submit the litigation cases to the judge
o Attend Court to meet with the Judges whenever required.
o All other matters ancillary to the above and to perform any other related duties that Management may require from time to time.
