According to the Leader, on November 11, the Central Bank of Nigeria called on Nigerians to accept the digital currency e-Naira.
Osita Nwanisobi, Director of the Publicity Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria, emphasized the benefits of digital currency at the CBN special day of the ongoing Lagos International Trade Fair. He said: “e-Naira is expected to deepen financial inclusion and allow more people to enter the financial sector. , To support a flexible payment ecosystem, reduce cash processing costs, enable citizens to receive direct and transparent welfare support, increase the transparency of income and taxation, facilitate remittances by expatriates, reduce financial transaction costs, and improve payment efficiency."
In the future, Nigerians will gradually get used to using mobile phones to complete all their lives and businesses.
