A resident doctor at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH), Dr. Crystal Akpan has killed himself.

The doctor reportedly committed suicide.

Sources in the hospital disclosed that the young medical doctor ended his life by consuming a chemical substance.

The deceased worked in the Cardiology Department of the hospital and was married.

He was said to have three kids.
