God never said anything about weddings to begin with. The ceremonies have nothing to do with God since it is all of men and not of God.

A marriage is simply an agreement reached between a man and a woman and they cleave/join/mate to seal the agreement, all this without permission needed from any other human being.

Unscriptural but not sinful. Yes traditional wedding is the acceptable way of getting married but the dogma of your church maybe to do extra due years of indoctrination and belief system hence the church wedding.

Traditional weddings have absolutely nothing to do with God as well. They may be acceptable to you as men, but when it comes to God, they are meaningless. Again, this because God never commanded your weddings and ceremonies.

Your traditional weddings are no different from church weddings. They are equally as meaningless as your church ceremonies and rites, again as they all have nothing do with what God said of marriage.
