Environmental heroes

Dr. Benard Adedotun Omoyeni was born on the 1st of July 1971 in Oka Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, to the family of Pa Julius Omoyeni (JP) and Mrs Regina Omoyeni (JP).

He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Technology, Akure (1997); a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Maiduguri (2001); a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Environmental Management (MEM) from Federal University of Agriculture(, Abeokuta (2004), a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Geographic Information System (GIS) from University of Ibadan, (2005), and currently rounding up his PhD Degree in Environmental Management at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

Benard Omoyeni holds a Doctor of Business Administration (Honoris Causa) and Master Class in Business and Leadership from the prestigious Commonwealth University and London Graduate School UK respectively in Dec 2019.

Dr. Benard began his career as Lecturer with the Federal College of Freshwater Fisheries Technology, Baga – Maiduguri in Borno State in February 1999 few months after his completion of the one year Mandatary National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) where he worked for seven years serving in various capacities in academic and administrative functions as Lecturer/Research Officer,
HOD, Director of Studies and Acting Provost before joining a multinational oil and gas company in Lagos as Environmental Specialist in November 2005 where he has been working till date.

He is the Author of the renowned EIA book titled: Principles and Application of Environmental Impact Assessment, a book that is widely circulated among the tertiary institutions of learning in Nigeria and accepted for sales on Amazon.com.
He is an entrepreneur and industrialist sitting on the board of two private organizations as Chairman and Executive Director respectively.

He is the founder and CEO of Palmadex Global Integrated Services Ltd, an award-winning export company which major in export of non – oil agricultural products and raw materials to Europe, Asia, Middle East and America as well as provision of Export investment and consultancy services.

Dr. Benard Omoyeni has continued to demonstrate his love for God and humanity by empowering many families and individuals to start up SME businesses, trades and vocational jobs to alleviating poverty in the lives of the people.

Dr. Benard is a community mobilizer and opinionated leader, he is currently the National Coordinator of the Owase Community Professional Forum (OCPF), a body of professionals from his native home both within Nigeria and in diaspora, registered to promote the socio-economic wellbeing of their community and people.

Beyond his academic, professional, management and technical prowess, Benard Omoyeni was ordained a Pastor with the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel) by Bishop David Oyedepo Sept 8, 2019 to work in the vine yard as minister of the gospel spreading the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ amongst the heathen. He is a devout Christian that propagates the gospel with passion for the salvation of souls of men and promotion of the wellbeing of the people around him and humanity at large.

Benard Omoyeni is a public analyst, a bridge builder, a detribalized Nigerian and community mobilizer who has contributed immensely to the peaceful coexistence and development of his community and tirelessly promoting the unity and advancement of Nigeria as a nation.
He is happily married to Uzoma Maryanne Omoyeni and their union is blessed with three Children.
