Nigeria has produced some of the biggest names in the fighting world. From Israel Adesanya, Anthony Joshua and Kamaru Usman, a lot of fighters in the UFC and WBC have roots traceable back to Nigeria. Little wonder we boast of a sport more deadly than the UFC and native to northern Nigeria. Dambe is a sport that is very similar to the MMA but has a few twists that make it unique. You can only strike with one wrapped hand, and block or parry with the other.
