Job Summary : Reports to the GM, you will collaborate with the GM in setting and driving organizational vision and operational strategy. You will develop and implement business strategies and prepare commercial plans to ensure the short-term and long-term objectives of the product division
Responsibilities are but not limited to:

· Evaluate assigned category managers performance against sales targets and ensure appropriate action is taken to improve performance across all business channels.
· Monitor product behaviour and movement patterns, and work with the category procurement and sales manager to ensure sellout and increase inventory turnover.
· Ensure inventory is properly managed and controlled to avoid product shortage and aged stock.
· Ensure appropriate margins are kept as approved by management and ensure review of prices with Management as and when due.
· Ensure, clearing and freight charges are posted on the application
· Carry out Survey to ensure prices of products are competitive and advise accordingly
· Maintain an approved standard costing template making sure historical data are kept for future reference.
· Review the costing template in conjunction with appropriate authorities and ensure procurement of quality products at the best available rates
· Interface with the OEM service centers, and manage all product related warranty issues between the after-sales services team and OEM’s ·· Supervise to ensure all defective items are fully accounted for and follow through with the supplier for warranty claim and replacement.
· Co-ordinate and maintain the price list ensuring accurate information
· Audit Price for correctness, competitiveness and margin alignments
· Ensure profitability of all categories at all times to meet the approved margin target.
· Constantly review the pricelist to ensure all the products in the inventory master list are onboarded on the pricelist and they are correctly priced and well described for easy identification.
· Review margins on products and product pricing, and get the required approvals for discounts.
Skills & Expertise
· Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
· Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
· A knack for negotiation and networking
· Working experience with ERP software
· Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
· Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions
· Strong leadership capabilities
Qualifications and Experience
· BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
· 10-15 years’ work-related experience and a solid experience in Supply chain and operations
