I read the account below and just couldn't figure out what goes on in some people's mind when they commit some despicable acts that would haunt and torment them for a lifetime.

A Woman's Story of Shame

At a recent family wedding reception which took place at my brother-in-law’s house, I had a really drunken night with a few family friends, including my brother-in-law. Things got out of hand and we ended up having sex in a spare room in his house, I regretted it immediately as I’m very happy with my husband.

We have two children and are planning for the third one. Now I’ve just discovered I’m pregnant and there is a good chance my brother-in-law could be the father. Should I discuss this with him before I tell my husband?

What seems difficult for me to grasp is the declaration of love in a dicey situation like this. One would have thought that love should have defined safe boundaries when it comes to any kind of relations with her brother-in-law.

A woman would stab you in the chest and at the same time cry in regret.

If u regretted it immediately, that means you've an idea of what you are about doing before you did it. So, it went out of hand, and now you are pregnant. Thats really bad, too bad! Inform your husband and prepare for the consequent.

Let's say she was drunk, at least she would have taken some pills the next day to prevent pregnancy.

I think she was already eyeing the brother-in-law and he was eyeing her too maybe a little flirting in between and then when the opportunity hit, they took it and ran it out of the ballpark. Live with the consequences, she is wrong and he is worse because he committed the ultimate betrayal. Either way they will both be going to hell and i will laugh at them.
