As a way of uniting to give back to her Alma Mater the Old Students of Western Ahoada County High School, Ahoada [COHISA] is inviting all Old Students [boys and girls] home and abroad to it’s Grand Reunion event.

The COHISA Old Students Association Worldwide formed in 2021
with the Motto: “Giving Back to Our Alma Mater” is a federation of all alumni sets of the great institution.

The institution established in 1957 before Nigeria’s independence is one of the notable high schools in Rivers State South-South Nigeria that has produced great notable personalities across the state and federation including the serving Rivers State
commissioner of Education Prof. Kaniye Ebeku and the former Senator of Rivers West Senatoral District distinguished Senator Osinakachukwu Ideozu PhD.

In a letter jointly signed by its Coordinator/Chairman Planning Committee Dr. Eugene Esor, the Protem Secretary Dr Edward Imo and the Planning Committee Secretary Mr. Gideon Ele, the group said the epoch Grand Reunion event is scheduled to hold on the 18th of December 2021 at the school premises in Ahoada town, Rivers State by 12 noon.

The COHISA Grand Reunion tagged “Reuniting to Rebuild our Alma Mater” will feature a novelty football match, handing over of sitting desks donated by the Old Students Association, unveiling of the COHISA Signpost, COHISA Old Students Association sticker, posthumous recognition and citations on fallen comrades and principals/teachers, plus other activities planned for the day.
