BluntTheApostle:You're right...we need a change of mentality even if we eventually break up. But the empire of Nigeria of today is nearing its end. Change in constitution is possible or practicable where there's a sense of belonging. The making of Nigeria had been faulty from the beginning which will make the so called change difficult. Haven't you seen series of advices and ideas on how to move Nigeria forward but being thwarted by other regions? The constitution was selfishly put together. Each time people advocated for a change of it, the other regions especially the north would always kick. We said okay, let's go back to true federalism, they kicked. In a country where there's sense of belonging and sincerity of purpose such impediments wouldn't be there because we want a progressive Nigeria |
