On older versions of the Windows operating system, Microsoft introduced a set of screen savers. Screen Savers were introduced in the very old versions of the Windows operating system to avoid screen burn-in in CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) displays.

Although we don’t use CRT monitors these days, screen savers now feel irrelevant. However, the thing is that Microsoft included the Screensavers options even in the latest release of Windows, i.e., Windows 11.
