One weakness that those of us from the South of Nigeria have is that we lack security consciousness. The reason is that we're generally raised to love (rather than to attack) the next person. Thus, even when we are attacked again and again, we somehow hope that it's going to be alright soon.

After monitoring the news about Sheikh Gumi’s recent medical outreach to terrorists in Kogi forests, I can sense a preparation towards imminent massive attacks to be launched against South-Eastern and South-Western communities by the terrorists.

As Vanguard reported here,

“Gumi’s choice of Kogi this time around to offer medical support to mainly Fulanis that are victims of violence with his highly committed team is largely due to the alarming number of such victims that were forced to relocate from the South East and South West to Kogi State and to appreciate the Kogi State Government for welcoming them to the state and for allowing them to freely decide where to settle down in parts of the state.”

Only a fool or someone who does not know the Fulani will not know what such a massive and sudden relocation means. It means a preparation to attack the place.

So, I advise South-eastern and South-Westhern communities especially to be on a red alert. Coordinate yourselves using tech and your local languages. This will make it easy for you to act together more efficiently and effectively.

For example, those from the South East can get ideas in their local language from Telegram @NzukoUmunna. It is a very big shame for educated Southern Nigerians to allow some hordes of stupid people to keep attacking and killing them like fowls. Use what you have to get what you want ie. Use your powerful brains to overcome these stupid terrorists. Stop waiting for God to do for you what he has already given you the power to do for yourselves.

Okay...

"...We lack security consciousness..." doesn't really sound convincing. Southern Nigeria has always repelled attacks whenever they come.

Repelled. It's always as simple as that. Defensive attacks on enemy forces (forces which an international history student studying about Nigeria would think are some sabre-toothed foreigners) have been recorded both in print and in memory. One wouldn't agree much if offensive was the talk here.

I would rather outrightly say that the south has managed to surpress its bloodthirst and has embraced peace, but that the Fulanis are a group of bloodletting individuals who make it seem as though the south is dumb towards security.
