This is what is expected of Ipob warriors. Close in on Abuja, seize the seat of power and declare Biafra republic.

There would be no mistake of going through Ore- which was the downfall of biafra, the biggest tragedy of Ojukwu.

An elderly man should have been enjoying his retirement with his grandchildren not struggling to rule his country in old because of greed for more money and power.

I can't believe how stupid African leaders behave, Abiy is drowning and holding onto straw, the scenario between Abiy and Tigray rebels is like a southern president taking over from Buhari and thinking you can push out Fulanis from the country in one swoop after the high level of nepotism so far put in place by Buhari without applying tact and diplomacy, when Buhari has entrenched them in all our security apparatus for the past 8 years.

Now imagine the amount of weapons currently in the hands of Fulani bandits alone who are non state actors and the official arms under the control of Army commanders of Fulani extraction, meanwhile Amina Mohammed a Fulani and member of CPC block of APC and the current deputy UN Sec General just like the Head of WHO Tedros is a key figure in Tigray party mobilising international support (just replace Fulani with Tigray to get the picture using Nigeria context.)

Obasanjo was able to deplete the officer core of the North to achieve a balance in the security agencies during his tenure by sacking all senior military officers that have held political appointment across board including Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa etc which didn't raise much eye brows, that's tactical leadership. Although the trend is now been reversed hurriedly by Buhari.

Recall that people like Buba Marwa was then just promoted to Brigadier General after serving as Lagos state military administrator, he was among the most ambitious and possibly disgruntled but Obasanjo waited until people like Marwa attended a conference abroad before making the announcement.

Abiy is just a young man without political sagacity, Obasanjo met with him last week, instead of seeking for elderly advice from a seasoned African leader like Obasanjo he is busy announcing going to fight in the war front, dem go kpai am like Idris Debby of Chad cool.

I had to show you respect for your analysis. Ororo dey your brain. Well done.

Mumu, that was how Abiy boasted at the beginning, but you can see where he is now.
2021 is not 1967; a lot has changed concerning how wars are fought and won, in case you don't know.

Your useless army that's burning civilian houses in Imo state can't win any conventional war with their lack of discipline, professionalism, effective leadership, modern equipment, and good morale.

And the world is watching, so U.N and A.U are not doing anything about this, its really pathetic how international community left Ethiopia in the mud.

Who said so?
You haven't been following events there.
Everyone has been calling on Abiy to toe the line of diplomacy, but he, just like the the tribalistic Buhari, chose to go to war.
A simple diplomacy could have sorted out the issue with the Tigrayrians.

The curse of the Pharaohs.

Atleast that is what the Egyptians believe.

Ethiopia was threatening to build a dam on the river Nile and it was almost at the risk of war with Egypt.

The Egyptians claim that the pharaoahs have an ancient curse on anyone that will attempt to block the Nile.

The fact that they have a booming airline doesn't makes them a developed country. Their unemployment is alarming and a greater percentage of the citizens lives below the minimum wage.
Ethiopian airline is not a representation of the country. I used the airline many times but went into the city (Addis ababa) for the first time in2019 and saw/experienced how backward it was . The poverty there is similar to what you’ll find in war thorn countries .

one of the reasons why regional government isn't the best for countries with a weak federal military/forces.

The regional government is the only option for countries like Nigeria, UK and Ethiopia. You can't force ethnic groups into a forced marriage. The Yoruba's and Igbo's nation will be in the top 10 in Europe.

That's because you went to the ghetto. Addis is beautiful! The clubs, restaurants, hotels, villas it is nothing like a war torn country. There's poverty of course but there is money as well.

So this man's election is still in question right? Why don't they just vote (again or the firsttime)... there's more to this than what is on ground.

Some Ethiopians I spoke to about this claim that Egypt and the issue with the Nile might be behind the war.

I'm shocked that this so called leader is killing his own people in this day and age. All of this could be solved by talks.

The tigry people truly believe that this man stole the presidency. There are bigger outside forces driving for this war. If Ethiopia stabilizes there is so much money and hope for Africa as a whole. It's so sad it's unreal.

Sad thing about war
When it comes a poorly developing continent like Africa, war is a no no...It will set the country back to stone age.

The worst is that every country in Africa will suffer this war case lightly...Just like we are suffering that of Libya...Arms used in these war cases, will find it's way around the continent for terrorism and other crimes.
