Lightorder:It's there even in your local government in Anambra. It's a practice that became a tradition during the military era and became solidified when we entered democracy in 1999 and it's still there even in some private companies there are "ghost workers". |

Dem plenti for Lagos. That was one of the areas Ambode wanted to deal with, which made him become their enemies in the various ministries. Sooner than later, we'd get a leader in our state who will sanitize the system. Every iyaloja, iyalaje, baale and obas have candidates in the ministries and LGAs on their payrolls. Back in the days, I had a course mate who hails from Oro in Kwara state but resident in Lagos. He was on their payroll in one of the LGAs in Lagos. He does nothing, only goes to Lagos every month to sign for his salary. Stealing in Lagos Ministries is appaling. 2 Likes |

The above is why Nigeria cannot change. Who put the names of the bables there? Certainty not the governor, president or head of the Borno civil service. Most likely ordinary civil servants and their collaborators. And after they will say Nigeria is not working because of 'bad leaders' 1 Like |

The governor later shared dry season farming inputs to 1,750 farmers in Shani, Bayo and Hawul LGAs. He said each farmer received a water pump, a bag of fertilizer, a small bag of rice and maize seeds each as well as herbicides and pesticides. He urged the farmers to use the items judiciously and said more farmers will receive farm inputs next year. The bolded is what caught my attention. Do you now see why agriculture will keep booming in the North and the South will keep been threatened with starvation? Despite the bad weather and terrorism, the governors are still spending much on farming and down South, we just keep speaking big big English! 2 Likes |

What did the Governor to do to the family with 300 names in the payroll? And others found wanting? It's not enough to tell us what fraudulent activities you have uncovered but what you have done to the culprits. This is the root cause of underdevelopment and poverty in the country. Government refusal to deal with corruption objectively. |

dre11:This is a common practice in the north. I remember seeing children of Local government officials at the secretariat of the LGA I served in Kogi State during monthly verification for Salaries. Corruption is really a disease. |

SmartPolician:Zulum is been bias. This allegation is prevalent all over the state, much worse in his kanuri local government Areas. Sadly, zulum mentioned a particular LGA that's non-kanuri LGA. |

HeadNigga: This is what I say all the time. Government employees don't lose their jobs, they are not sacked and jailed, Heads never roll, scapegoats are never made example of to deter other's. How can such happen and nobody is even jailed. The law in this country is in coma. |
