Just 400 in the whole of state. Truly the North are backward.
It is better to have 400 standard private schools than having 2000 below standard private schools housed in make- shift structures as witness in some states.

Which taxes?

Definayely not VAT though.Education is exempt from significant taxation.

Someone should please clarify what kind of tax

That said education should be exempt from taxes in educationally disadvantaged states such as Zamfara.

They should go and create an enabling enviroment for real taxes and stop disturbing schools they did not support in anyway. So the parents that are managing ro put meagre school fees together should be subsidizing their bad bussiness enviroment with their taxes.

Ko make sense .

The Chairman explained that the attitude of private school operators of not paying their tax to the state government is badly affecting the revenue generation capacity of the state.

Wait 300+ schools dt are not paying tax are affecting the state finance?

Just 400 private schools? Omo something needs to be done abe!
That is North for you.
Just 400 private schools in the whole state when my local government......Obio/Akpor,alone boast of over 2000 private schools.

These Notherners can never match the South in education and human capital development even in the next 200 years.

They can only get income tax from the salary of the school workers and registration fees. Nothing else.
