What Difference Would A Rotational Presidency Mean For An Average Nigerian? by Nobody: 8:22am On Dec 05, 2021
To be honest and candid of what importance is a particular tribe Presidency mean to a Nigerian? We keep yearning for a particular section to have access to power , of what difference does it make to an average Nigerian who have one thing in common " Poverty" , Joblessness, Poor health and e.t.c Or is this call just the call of the Political Elite who want to continue impoverishing the common Nigerian? An average Nigerian does not really care where the President comes from as long as he or she can meet his or her daily need and be lifted out of poverty. The north according to the political history of Nigeria has ruled the country more than any part of the merged regions but yet the rate of poverty in the north is second to none. Now let's bring this down to those calling for Presidency for a particular region , of what importance is that to the common Nigerian? Will that being down the price of food? Will that put quality food on the table of the average Nigerian ? Every region has got representative in the government, what has been the performance of these representatives? Have they been able to lift their constituent out of Poverty ? Nigerians should be able to differentiate between a true call from a deceitful call for rotational presidency. What Nigeria need are leaders with human face irrespective of tribe ,religion or class, just that person with human face . Nigerians have been deceived for too long by the Political class and yet Nigerians keep falling for their deceit because an average Nigerian is not sincer with himself and others. No wonder a political scientist once said " a society deserves the leadership it gets" . Nigerians let's unite and call for a true leadership irrespective of where he or she comes from , all we need is a President with human face .

That's tribal & religious sentiments for you. The fact that someone from your tribe or religion is President massages those sentiments even though you may not necessarily benefit anything.
But we need to rise above these sentiments as a nation.

Credibility of the candidates should be our concern

Truth is that if you are sincere, you would know without an iota of doubt that all the regions in Nigeria can produce "a president with a human face". So where that president should come from is as important as the qualities you might consider essential whatever they may be. This is not the time for "irrespective of where he or she comes from". This is time for South East to produce the leader of this nation whether subtle campaigners against it like it or not. There are a million Igbo that can take this country out of the doldrums. So what are you guys afraid of? Justice? Come on you all.

Same South East that their youths are shouting Biafra. Which major political party would make such blunder of zoning their presidency to the region. Be honest with yourself

I checked out the effects of this drugs and some of these guys here display some.

(1) That illusion of power.

(2) Tinubu/Fulani induced paranoia.

(3) Hyperactivity.

(4) Inability to grasp abstract thoughts.

(5) Anxiety that DSS/Fulani herdsmen are out to get them.

(6) Aggressiveness.

(7) Irritability.

(8 ) Hallucinations ( You know how they love to push their hallucinations as their reality).

Most of these people we exchange words with here are druggies or mentally Impaired/damaged people.

To an average Nigerian balance of power is nothing, rather good standard of living and prospective future. What is the essence of balance of power in the midst of Poverty?

Don't be ahead of yourself. Irrespective of whatever the youths are doing, in 2015, power was handed over to the north despite the massive onslaughts on the Nigerian state by their abominable children fighting to impose an Islamic rule in northern Nigeria, if possible the whole nation. Isn't it clear in your writeup where your interest lay? The lizard says that the movement of someone intending to throw stones at him is quite different from that of an ordinary innocent passerby. I knew that behind your facade of anyone can rule, is a strong believe that the Igbo isn't included in the club of anyone can rule.
