Niger APC, PDP Engage In Verbal War Over Osibanjo Visit by PrinceOfLagos: 9:08am On Dec 06, 2021
THE Niger State chapter of the All Progressives Congress and its Peoples Democratic Party counterpart, have engaged in a war of words over a one-day visit by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.

Osinbajo, was in Bida as a special guest at the turbanning ceremony by the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of traditional rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, on Saturday.

After Osinbajo left the state, the opposition PDP mocked the ruling APC saying it was a shame that the VP left the state without inaugurating a single project executed by the ruling APC because there was none.

The State Chairman of the PDP, Tanko Beji, while mocking the governing APC in a statement in Minna, on Sunday said, “The APC-led administration in the state decided to make the visit low-key because they have nothing to commission in the last six years of being in office.

“As though that is not enough undoing, the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was not shown any project or landmark achievement by either the government or the APC legislators to commission in Bida.

“The PDP expected that a performing government would line up projects for the Vice President to commission as he visits the state for a jamboree turbaning in Bida but none”.

Beji described the VP’s visit as a mere jamboree to waste state resources that could have been used for developmental projects.

Osibanjo had better sit up or be shipped out because 2023 ain't gonna be business as usual

We've already silenced Tinubu for a more better and credible candidate that will lead Nigeria to the path of prosperity

Osinbajo is the only man I think is good enough to be next president. God please make it come true.

Today is my birthday. My wish is for Osinbajo to be the next president of this country.

Nairaland please wish me well. Someone please ask for my account number.

It is sad to see Sani follow the path of Babagida Aliyu, this is a young man who supose to be progressive and give the peole of Niger state a dividend of democracy. Zero critical infrastructure in the state.....The capital (Minna)is next to zero development or transmformation... this is a state you wont see a change even you go there after you left 10 years ago....same old bad governance.

Yahaya Bellow and Sanni are the same thing, the only difference is that Sanni dont jantalk grin
