If you must apprehend the driver, quietly trail him to the nearest bus stop. There's no way he would escape Aguda, Ọgba bus stop and Mobil filling station along the same route.

I sincerely think there should be stricter laws for articulated vehicles on road usage during the day.

This is a case of another avoidable mishap!

Ambode banned those VIO being on the road for a reason while replacing them with RRS police saloon cars randomly patrolling the roads and scanning your number plates to know expired car documents... honestly the RRS police patrol was extremely effective especially on lekki corridors.

If the VIO actually do inspect your vehicle before handing out road worthiness, why are they on the road if the same document has just 6months duration.

My niece was extremely lucky not to be statistic. She and some of her friends, who were helping an elderly man push his broken down vehicle opposite the school, escaped by jumping into the gutter. She got home crying and shaking. Her mother has been singing worship songs since she got home

While it was wrong for LASTMA to chase him, why do Nigerians run from law enforcement officers? I had a case with the task force a few weeks ago and some people were telling me they would have driven off or knocked them down. What if you knock someone while driving off, shey the case of 15k would now involve a human life? Is it worth it?

That was how one man knocked a police officer off a bridge where he was trying to be a sharp guy. Totally unnecessary. The Nigerian system is heavily corrupt, so I am always confident that it is a problem that money can solve and money must solve it.
