He has already said how he will generate the money, you can say anything you want about this man, but I have never seen anything like him, just come to borno and see how he is transforming it, from infrastructure, education e.g paying scholarship to every borno indigene in higher institution since he came to power, stamping out corruption, you name it , May god protect zulum, May Nigeria as a whole have a chance to have him at national level 5 Likes 1 Share |

267 billion Wow! Just wow!! Everyday we talk about billions upon billions. They won't even try to give the country a face lift, to make it look like something they've been budgeting billions for since 1900

You can now see the fraud of a country. Doing a random sampling stuff; if Anambra that is economically vibrant presents a budget of #141 billion, Kano that's the economic live wire of the north presented #196 billion for same 2022 appropration year respectively, what is this barren Borno doing with a whopping sum of #267 billion? Paying terrorists? Let's use our tongue to count our teeth abeg 9 Likes 4 Shares |

Everyone talking about looting. So, you people want him to just seat in office and do nothing. But, the truth is that they are pained that borno and kano could make such amount of money. We Nigerians like seeing other people's downfall, whenever good news comes from the north, you will see hate and pain flying around. 4 Likes |

tnerro1: My brother...same question I want to ask o! With 172billion for capital expenditure with education getting 38 billion, the budget seems like an excellent one. The question is, where will the funds come from? Because 267billion naira is quite ambitious for a state like Borno that neither has wonderful IGR nor VAT. But goodluck to Zulum though. He’s one of my best politicians in power. I commend Kashim Shettima for ensuring a great character like Zulum succeeded him. Umahi/Zulum2023 for APC And Obi/Kwankwaso2023 for PDP. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I think NGO’s pay certain of their grants to the state government, moreover we don’t know his security vote, even though it is not bn accounted for but Zulum bn a straight forward person might be putting the money into good use,if not come to think of with where does he get the money to do all d projects, donations and support from, just yesterday I read somewhere where he bought some BAT UMG trucks from The Armored group(TAG) amongst hundreds of thousand vehicles and motorcycles he has donated to JTF “The budget tagged “Hope for Post-Conflict Stability” indicated about 65% capital projects, while recurrent expenditures got 35%, which is to be financed from Recurrent Revenue of N113,535,634,000 for capital expenditure. “This will comprise FAAC Revenue of N48,215,985,000, Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of N34,534,704,000, Value Added Tax (VAT) of N20,716,973,000, and other Federation Account sources of N10,372,239,000 billion respectively, in addition to N154,081,583,000 comprising loans and Grant’s to be financed by Capital Receipts.” Zulum said”the breakdown 2 Likes |

eneh49: Lol, and after 5 hours and despite being moved to front page, I still met you in the same first page Meanwhile, Nigeria is scam. After I read a report about how state governors are allowed to spend billions of naira personally allocated to them monthly in the name of security votes, I just gave up. It means that these rogues can spend billions of naira or even pocket it and no one will know talk more of asking questions! In a country where wages are agonisingly low, infrastructure in deplorable state, the populace starving etc, why can't states be managed like corporations with activities and projects vetted by independent auditors that would be appointed by external bodies? Borno state is largely ungovernable at the moment, with terrorists controlling large swats which means that government can't access those places. Yet they are budgeting these amounts. If this man decides to pocket half of the money, who will question him? Is this how governance is run in sane countries? If banks can have hundreds of branches nationwide yet each branch is monitored effectively without branch managers stealing money, why can't governance be made open like that so it can be monitored too? Nigeria is indeed a sh1thole not because of lack of money but due to criminal minded rulers and a bastardized system! 2 Likes |
