It's like God and His Heavenly Council have decided that Nigeria must disintegrate, because calls for restructuring have been on for very long, but this hopeless government is turning deaf ears.
As we Igbos say"Those whom the gods want to destroy, they first make deaf and mad" That's what's happening now.

It is time Nigeria should opt for regional government now that we can all see that the giant nigeria cannot survive as a nation. The benefits of regional governments are numerous. it is an idea that will enable regional development and productivity . It will reduce corruption and enhance security of each region. "
Re: Agitations: Nigeria Must Embrace Restructuring Before It Is Too Late - Fayemi by after4: 10:34pm On Dec 09, 2021
and you think nigeria will survive till that time?

ReeLoaDead:
neither … it will have to be collective.
It does not look feasible with the current group of politicians but maybe in the future, some one capable (or a group of them) can come and rescue the country.

Wetin the northern part of Nigeria don’t want to hear, but it’s inevitable, it has to happen soon or the tearing of the country apart by this sectional groups will continue, God forbid we turn to Sudan, but that’s what the north is pushing the country towards.

What could be the reason for this sudden outburst from Fayemi, could it be out of frustration because he couldn't garner enough clout to put forth his presidential ambition like Tinubu is currently doing hence there's need to make comments that would weaken chances of APC who deceived South on restructuring in 2014 or he has finally seal a deal with northern power to serve as a clog in the wheel for any Southern candidates who will revisit campaign promise of APC in 2014.

Whatever it is, Fayemi has always appeared to be a traitor and very selfish individual who rose to limelight through agitation for June 12 but failed to defend what June 12 stands for.

Why is he coming up with this barely 13month to the end tenure of this regime

Absolute rubbish. How does the call for restructuring weaken the chances of the south to produce the next president?
What are the alternatives? Nigeria is at crossroads, if Nigeria is not restructured it will eventually implode. It is simple as that. It may not be tomorrow or next year. But, it will happen.

Why making a statement again when you know what is wrong and the failing progressive path that your principal and sisters in politics are tolling.

The Nigerian citizens are powerless, you made them so. In so that many of you can continue your evil act and keep them in poverty.

Why making noise to Nigerians who are sure ready for restructuring, rather for you fayemi to take the lead for loud agitation on restructuring, your position is good in making it possible. And if this is just a press release to romance the populace then you are only a noise maker not a doer.

If we don't restructure early, it will only become more worse and the country may collapse suddenly. Plis, no one should expect magic come 2023.

You can never talk about restructuring without talking about referendum..

These things is what makes democracy beautiful and politics sweet. Everything in this country and in Africa shouldn’t be by force and people losing their lives before what needs to be done is done.
We can be 3 countries in one country. EU is a perfect example..

The highest hypocrisy is you’re against ipob and at the same time you’re praying and hustling to leave the country because the system is messed up.

you are going too far. switzerland wey no big reach ogun state sef get 7 presidents 26 states and they are all independent. you fit go another state you go hear say the law for the different pass where you come from. even if you are switching apartments to another state, you have to change your platenumber.

Break up Nigeria to save lives. The killings in Nigeria is too much. Many souls are crying out from the grave after having their lives cut short before their time. Call a referendum so the people can decide on the way forward before its too late. A time will come when you will no longer be able to jappa so don't just sit there and allow things to get to a point where a war may break out in Nigeria like it happened back in Rwanda then.

Division is not going to solve the problems … all current sections of Nigeria are CORRUPT. Breaking it up will just result in smaller equally corrupt countries.
