A Nation Built For Problems by EmekaStanley: 10:40am On Dec 11, 2021
The world is an abode of problems, there's no escape out of it so long as the world exists. it is nature's way of quickening the soul of all who abideth therein.

Some nations have come to understand this and have kept fortifying themselves in that regards, while some aside genuine problems created by virtue of human existence, have included the wicked problems of man's heart.

What nation is built for genuine problems?

And what can they do to keep living in the world?

Everybody wants a nation where everything works, a nation where there are no problems with self, neighbor or the government. We want a nation where the government ensures that there is no single citizen that is poor, a nation where everyone eats the same quality food and sleep under the same conditions, a nation where there is no single case of injustice and every citizen is law abiding.

Who doesn't want a nation where nobody dies as a result of sickness because the government ensures that every sickness in that nation is attended to, and all who falls sick gets well.

Well, from the description above, it is certain that the nation is not Nigeria. So which nation fits perfectly into the description? NONE.

No nation fits into that description. No nation has 100% wealthy citizens, no nation has 100% law abiding citizens and no nation has all the people living under the same exact conditions no matter how much the government tries. People still die of sickness and diseases in countries that have great health care systems.

The point is, every nation has its own peculiar, no nation is problem free. In simple terms, nations are built for problems. It is problems that make nations worthy of existence.

Nigeria is nation built for problems. Problems are part of living, and solving them make a simple nation more knowledgeable and great. It is not a mistake that you were born in a country that has an array of problems; there is a reason why you are a Nigerian. It is not to be part of the problems but to be part of the solutions. It is in creating a solution to solve part of the problems you find your fulfillment.

Very smart people already understand that their massive breakthrough is found in problems. What this means is that Nigeria as a nation built for problems is a fertile ground for creators, innovators, inventors and entrepreneurs who are willing to recreate their lives and help others recreate theirs by providing solutions to specified problems.

The other set of people are those who keep complaining about everything but never put in deep thoughts or actions towards making things better.

Great countries do not see problems as setbacks, they understand that problems are opportunities. Therefore. they take responsibilities and create solutions for them. Some of these countries are the ones creating genuine problems for themselves in order to be ahead of others technologically, economically, financially or through other ways that add value to living.

Human beings are built for problems too, no miracle can change that. Those who don't understand this easily get frustrated and start complaining about everything.

Solving a problems empower you to be able to solve more; it increases your strength to be more productive and attracts more resources to you.

China solved the problem of unnecessary importation into their country by becoming a manufacturing hub of the world. Excess importation is a genuine problem in a nation, and the solution is internal production, this means being able to produce more than you import.

What solution can you bring to a nation? In what areas can you proffer or provide a solution that can make the nation better?

What are the pressing needs of people in your country? What can you do about them?

These should be the concern of every Nigerian who means well for the nation, this should be the concern of every individual who means well for his or her nation.

I share the same perspective with Shakespeare when he wrote, "sweet are the uses of adversity.."

It is in adversity that nations are fortified.

What you make of your nation is what it becomes to you, and for problems, they will always be part of nationhood. Get used to it.
