Popular investigative journalist, Kemi Olunoyo has come out to dish out what she had found out about the death of Sylvester Omoroni.

According to Kemi Olunoyo, the 12-year-old boy, Sylvester died not because he was bullied, but because he wanted to join the boys’ gang in the school to gain some recognition.


Speaking on Twitter, She said “People, it was under peer pressure, they told him we have to beat you, they beat him, they told him you gotta drink this stuff, he drank engine oil, engine oil open of the boys got hold of from a house masters car. I am telling you what’s going on in the investigation, that’s what investigative journalism is..”

She added that she has people on the inside feeding her with concrete pieces of information, she said: “I people on the inside feeding Kemi with information, the government wouldn’t like it, the police chief wouldn’t like it but that’s not my fault..at the end of the day, Sylvester did everything they asked him to do, they asked him to describe his sister’s vagina, he did, then he told his parent….”

She continued by saying the majority do not know what boarding houses are all about, she said it is no different from big brother Naija, they form little groups, they have a big brother who they listen to.
