Some days ago, the RCCG launched a dating site, Redeemers Connect, which started to trend on social media, stirring a debate among potential users offline and online.

The Redeemers Connect, the Christian singles platform, joins other trending courtship platforms such as Tinder, Badoo, Afroromance, Friendite, Zoosk among others to foster unions

AllNews Nigeria reports that the City of David Parish, which is a branch of RCCG situated at the Victoria Island area of Lagos State, launched the dating site to help single Christians in the country.

FROM ROADSIDES TO DATING PLATFORMS

Before Redeemers Connect was launched, other dating sites such as iFlirts and Tinder served as alternative avenues to hook-ups.

Tinder is an online dating and geosocial networking application. Users anonymously "swipe right" to like or "swipe left" to dislike other users' profiles, which include their photo, a short bio, and a list of their interests.
