A truck conveying fuel detonated in northern Haiti, killing in excess of 53 individuals and harming many others.

Film shared online showed the consequence of the blast with the blazes pouring from the destruction of the vehicle.

The impact happened late on Monday December 13, in the city of Cap-Haitien, Prime Minister Ariel Henry said, adding that three days of public grieving have been pronounced.

Three days of public grieving will be declared all through the region, in memory of the casualties of this misfortune that the whole Haitian country is lamenting, Mr. Henry tweeted.
