The leading Aspirant of Yagba House of Representatives election, Engr. Folorunsho Olafemi has condemned the attack on banks and people of Egbe and Odo-Ere communities by unknown gunmen in the earlier hours of Tuesday, 14 of December 2021.

Engr. Folorunsho who described the attack as vicious and horrendous sympathized with the family and friends of the victims as well as the entire people of Egbe and Odo-Ere communities over the loss of their loved ones.

On Tuesday, gunmen laid siege on UBA bank in Odo-Ere and Access bank in Egbe while leaving 3 people dead.

Speaking through his platform, Engr. Folorunsho encouraged the people to be the bearer of positivity in society. According to him, such an attack on the communities could not have happened if it was not planned by the people who should ordinarily be a bearer of positivity in society.

"The events of yesterday have left us saddened but we remain resilient. Even as we mourn and sympathize with all who have been affected by these sad events, I want us to be torchbearers of positivity even when it seems all around us says otherwise. Please, let's be the encouragement tool and source of hope to our friends and families impacted or not. My love and thoughts remain with all" he said.
