Anytime I walk the streets of Portharcourt, I weep at the height of decay among it's youth. They are only concerned with thuggery substance abuse and extortion. I'm beginning to believe their relationship with Igboness was severed by this trait in them.

Masquerades are creepier than this...I've seen an 8ft tall very black aggressive evil looking masquerade when I was a child...that's the realest and most ruthless masquerade ever seen with my 2 eyes....the ones I see this days are all a joke.

I'm aware black soot is ravaging the atmosphere of that place.

Carcinogenic material and flames up in the air.

In the nearest future this will shoot up the cases of lung cancer, breathing defects and even impotency in men. But then the people are so unbothered about dying slowly.

And these are people you say will force a revolution or demand a separation from the zoo. When they can't even save themselves from dying. YOU MUST BE JOKING!

It's called Ekpo.
It's a calabar masquerade.
I use to see them a lot when i was a kid in Lagos because we live in a town in Lagos With majority of calabar people.

They chased people and there was one they called "kill and go" or "cut and go" those ones are much brutal and according to what we were told when we were young, they chased after people and cut them with their cutlass.

I don't know if it's true or not.
