“Moulin Rouge! The Musical”
was the most recent Broadway hit to fall victim to the rising again of COVID-19 cases in the Big Apple – as the show was suddenly and unexpectedly canceled Thursday night with fans so far in their seats.
This unexpected cancellation at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre was caused by
“a late in the day positive test result in the company,”
a spokesperson established to The Post.
Organizers will decide the future performance schedule on Friday, the spokesperson said.
