In the spirit of Christmas which is known for sharing of love, gifts inclusive, National Youth Service Corps, Editorial Board, Osogbo Osun State, paid a courtesy visit to Little Angels of Fatimah Catholic, Home for motherless and abandoned babies in Osogbo.

The Board was welcomed by Reverend Sister Mary Elizabeth, a co-worker in the home who welcomed the Board on behalf of the Bishop of Catholic Diocese Osogbo, Most Rev John Akinkunmi Oyejola.

The Social Media Director of the Board, John Sunday Brian appreciated the home for accommodating the Board and also stated the intents of all Board members as being glad to be there present contributing their quota to humanity.

The Editor-in-Chief, John Ukeko expressed his gratitude stating it was all joy to be there.

“We’re sincerely happy to be here to see these children in person and share this gifts with them. We know this is how to share love and we’ve given truly from our heart”.

According to the Rev. Sister, the home is filled with children whose parents are late, abandoned children and also children whose parents lack the resources to cater for them.

Also, she stated that the home also provides the children with one of the basic amenities of every child which is Education while stating that they have 2 grown children from the home in the Universities and one in a Carpentry home.

“Usually, foster parents are assigned to children who are yet to be adopted from our home and are up to 2 years of age. We urge people who can take care of them from their capacity to do so.” she added.

It was all smiles as everyone of the Board members left the home feeling they had truly blessed someone.
